Wildcatch™, in cooperation with Native, Alaskan and Pacific Northwest fishers, harvests only “certified sustainable” wild seafood. We offer the finest natural seafood products, free of antibiotics and synthetic colorings. Wildcatch™ is committed to the physical health of our customers as well as the economic health of local independent fishers and their coastal communities.

Wildcatch™ supports the Marine Stewardship Council’s work to ensure the long-term sustainability of global fish stocks. Our products have earned the MSC's seal of approval.


Based in Bellingham, Washington

Based in Bellingham, Washington and seasonally in Anchorage and western Alaska, Wildcatch™ is a company rooted in the adventure and romance of the sea – as we are fishers! In 1999 fisher co-founders Buck Gibbons and Jon Saarheim started Wildcatch™ with the goal to improve the lives of independent fishers in Alaska.

The idea of a direct connection between our customers to the source of the fish, fishermen and their communities, was born. Over the years this connection has been established through branded seafood that is traceable directly back to the fishermen and their communities. Wildcatch™ branded products include fresh and frozen fillets, frozen portions, canned, and smoked seafood.
